What do I specialise in?

I am a German-speaking advocate specialising in Polish-German and cross-border civil law matters, in particular motor insurance law, real estate law and inheritance law.

I have practised as an advocate since 2005, representing individual clients and businesses from Poland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

I successfully handle highly complex cases that require knowledge of foreign law and international practice, as well as the ability to move efficiently between different legal systems. I also represent social insurance institutions from German-speaking countries in recovering amounts due from those responsible for the damage caused.

An expert on the international stage

For more than 20 years, I have been cooperating with renowned international industry organisations in the insurance market: AVUS worldwide claims service GmbH, as well as with legal expenses insurers, including ADAC Rechtsschutzversicherung for the past 10 years.

For years, I have been associated with the community of the Institute for European Traffic Law (IETL). I attend international conferences and seminars on road traffic law and insurance law, both as a participant and as a speaker.

I also regularly attend the Deutscher Verkehrsgerichtstag in Goslar – one of the most important German expert events on road traffic law.

Roots and expertise

I graduated in Law and in Modern Languages from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. I also studied at the Faculties of Law of the universities of Mannheim and Heidelberg in Germany.

I am a member of the Regional Bar Council and I am involved in training trainee advocates. I also publish with the German publishing house Deubner Recht & Steuern GmbH & Co. KG.

As the daughter and granddaughter of Łódź advocates, I continue a professional tradition spanning several generations.

In my private life, I am passionate about mountain expeditions and I love dancing.

Marta Siewiera-Misiuda

attorney-at-law (radca prawny)

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź. An attorney-at-law since 2004. She speaks English. She advises individuals, businesses and public finance sector entities.

She runs training courses for businesses in selected areas of law. She specialises in commercial law, motor insurance law, intellectual property and the recovery of lost real estate.

She has extensive experience in providing comprehensive legal services to businesses in the construction, pharmaceutical and education sectors, including conducting litigation in civil and commercial cases as well as administrative proceedings.

A graduate of the Vocal Faculty of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław and of postgraduate studies at the Oratorio Faculty of the same academy. A professional musician, in her free time she gives concerts on stages in Poland and abroad. She loves travelling and skiing.

A law graduate of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, where he graduated with honours. From 2016, he completed his advocate traineeship at the Łódź Regional Bar Council under the supervision of advocate Magdalena Eckersdorf. After passing the bar examination in 2019, he obtained the professional title of advocate.

He specialises in insurance law, in particular in cases concerning motor vehicle damage and damage sustained abroad, including cases requiring the application of foreign law. He represents both individual clients and businesses, handling cases at the pre-litigation stage and in court proceedings. He speaks English.

I graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź. After completing my advocate traineeship under the supervision of advocate Andrzej Wosiński and passing the bar examination, I qualified to practise as an advocate and was entered on the roll of advocates of the Łódź Bar Association.

I gained my professional experience at renowned Łódź law firms, providing legal assistance to individual clients, businesses and non-governmental organisations.

I have been with E&S Law Firm since 2020.

I handle civil and commercial law cases, in particular matters connected with insured events in the broad sense, including those of a cross-border nature. I represent clients at every stage of pursuing claims, from pre-litigation proceedings, including claims handling proceedings, through court proceedings, to enforcement proceedings. I deal primarily with cases for compensation, compensation for harm suffered and annuities, recourse proceedings and criminal proceedings, in which I act in particular as the legal representative of aggrieved parties.

I speak English and French.
